Chris Oyakhilome. Biography and Philanthropy of the President Of Christ Embassy Church

Chris Oyakhilome is an Nigerian pastor, TV host, as well as a writer. He is also the president of the Believers' LoveWorld Inc., also known under Christ Embassy International.

Chris Oyakhilome Background
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is the first Oyakhilome's son, having been born to Tim Oyakhilome and Chris Oyakhilome on 7 th December 1973. Following his primary and secondary education, he attended Ambrose Alli University in Ekpoma (Edo State), Nigeria, where the university awarded him a BSc. in Architecture.


AAU also gave the honorary Doctor of Science Award. He is also a doctoral honorary from Benson Idahosa University in divinity. Reverend Chris was married to Anita Obhodaghe once, and they have two kids.

Chris Oyakhilome Ministry
While still at AAU, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began his journey into the ministry. The Believers' LoveWorld fellowship was then known as Youths For Christ (YFC).

YFC rapidly grew and eventually became the largest college group.  Pastor Chris Oyakhilome In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Lagos is the home of the church's headquarters. Believer's LoveWorld now has millions of associates and followers all over the globe.

Through the 2002 atmosphere for miracles, BLW rose to prominence as a Christian ministry on television in Africa. The program was canceled in May of 2004, when the president of the time, Nigeria - Olusegun Obasanjo announced that the country's president had resigned Olusegun Obasanjo announced that churches should cease airing miracles on television.

Pastor Chris's Ministry comprises four different branches including publishing ministry, healing ministry; television ministry; and the teaching ministry. From these areas, he has created the healing school and atmosphere for miracles as well as the Pastor Chris global prayer network.

Future Africa Leaders' Foundation (FALF)
The Future Africa Leaders Foundation, an initiative that seeks to enhance the potential for leadership of Africans, was created.  Chris Oyakhilome Family The foundation recognizes and assists youngsters Africans who have shown exemplary leadership by impacting their generations positively. They do this through education and guiding youngsters and encouraging youth empowerment.

The foundation honors the young leaders by presenting them with awards known as The Next Africa Leaders’ Awards. Held at the LoveWorld Convocation Arena in Billings Way (LCA), Oregun and Ikeja, the award ceremony is just 5 years old.  Oyakhilome Winners receive an award from the President of BLW - Reverend Chris Oyakhilome.

The InnerCity Mission For Children

The InnerCity Mission is a faith-based non-governmental Organisation (NGO). In 2005, the NGO was established to help the poor and homeless, orphaned and children who are vulnerable .

The foundation aids these children and their communities by implementing sustainable and participatory interventions which include child development programs and childcare programs and family strengthening programs, InnerCity Mission for Children School, etc.


Trauma Care International Foundation

The TraumaCare International Foundation was established in order to enhance health and life expectancy for the local community. They also support improved emergency response services when there are emergencies or accidents. The foundation will assist in implementing the national policies for trauma treatment by providing them through advocacy, health education, and community-based programs.

The foundation has carried out more than a thousand first aid safety, emergency response courses. They have also trained thousands of police officers, teachers and caregivers as well road transporters.

Volunteer Medical Corps
The Volunteer Medical Corps, a religious outreach of the church is committed to providing aid materials as well as medical aid and education to people who are internally displaced and refugees living in areas that have been affected by natural and man-made disasters.

Chris Oyakhilome Family This outreach includes a network consisting of paramedics Christian health workers, and students from all over the world. The volunteers offer emergency medical treatment, emergency assistance as well as sustainable health-care solutions for people in need.

VMC also provides local health services and manpower training to health workers. VMC outreach is available to everyone whose primary purpose is to improve health of people in need and to provide humanitarian assistance.

Bible For All Nation
Bible For All Mission (BFAM), a christian organisation, is committed to making, producing, and global distribution of bibles for all ages. It is available in any language or format they know about. Outreach helps people understand the Bible while also allowing people to receive the life-changing messages from Jesus Christ.

BFAM has distributed hundreds of thousands of free copies of Rhapsody Bible in communities, hospitals, prisons and other institutions across the globe and includes South Africa, Nigeria, Gambia and Ghana. Thanks to a global network of bible donations and volunteers, this outreach was possible.
